Looking to give back to your community this year?

The Ballard Tool Library is hosting a volunteer orientation from 12 pm to 1 pm on Saturday, June 6th. Come learn more about how our affordable rentals are helping Ballard DIY’ers complete their projects more sustainably.

Volunteers are expected to complete at least one two-hour librarian shift each month, or join our team of tool fixers to keep our inventory working.

Please join us the 2nd Tuesday of every month to gather together to help make our community a little bit warmer (in a good way!). We knit hats and scarves for those in need while enjoying creative community. New to knitting? No problem, there are helpful experts on hand to get you casting on in no time. Already and expert? Come hang out with other talented Knitters and enjoy some socializing. Old Stove Gardens is a beautiful space indoors and out. They have delicious food and all types of beverages including n/a.

Cost: $15 donation*. Sustainable Ballard Supporting Members are FREE.
Children 10 and under are free (no registration required).

Join us for a fun walking or biking tour of neighborhood gardens, planting strips, containers, raised beds, and all sorts of creative edibles from fruit trees to berries to veggies galore. Plan to spend a day walking or biking through Ballard to discover how your neighbors raise urban fruits and vegetables. Gardeners will be on hand to answer your questions. If you’re new to gardening, we hope that you can join us to see what other gardeners in the neighborhood are doing and get some tips!

This year's tour will be located in Southeast Ballard. The tour is self-guided. Just show your ticket (printed or on phone) to pick up your tour map at the start point: Collective Chemistry, 5201 11th Ave NW, Ballard

Raffle Tickets : 2 for $5 (you choose which prizes you could win)
