The 13th Edible Garden Tour will be hosted with current state and local COVID precautions. Some gardens may require masking. Some gardens may also prohibit pets.
Join us for a fun walking or biking tour of neighborhood gardens, planting strips, containers, raised beds, chickens, and all sorts of creative edibles from fruit trees to berries to veggies galore. Plan to spend a day walking or biking through Ballard to discover how your neighbors raise urban fruits and vegetables. Gardeners will be on hand to answer your questions. If you’re new to gardening, we hope that you can join us to see what other gardeners in the neighborhood are doing and get some tips!
The tour includes many gardens to explore within walking distance of each other in Southwest Ballard. The tour is self-guided. Just show your ticket to pick up your tour map at the start point: Sunset Hill Community Club, 3003 NW 66th St.
Highlight:
• The Start Point at Sunset Hill Community Clubhouse will feature live music, an awesome raffle and many gardening resources.
Highlight:
• The Master Gardeners of Thyme Patch Park will be on hand for a pop-up clinic. Have a plant that's having a hard time? Want help finding the perfect plant for that finicky part of your yard?
